Application

Once the base layer has dried and your target tooth is ready, the sealant is applied in liquid form and allowed to harden.

Children who have had their permanent molar come in are prime candidates for tooth sealants. Because their first permanent molars erupt between ages 4 and 7, this is a good time to consider this type of dental treatment.

The second set of permanent molars can also come in during the early pre-teen years, and provides an excellent window for you to protect their teeth for a lifetime of happy and healthy teeth.
