Zoom whitening cost and expectations
Are you looking to get your teeth whitened but wondering about what to expect and how much the procedure will cost. We prepared an educational guide to help you with your decision making.
With Zoom whitening, how much whiter my teeth will be?
It all depends on the color of the teeth, the amount of internal and external stains and other factors. We divide the factors that will influence your outcome into 3 broad categories:
1) Starting condition and color of teeth: The golden rule is that teeth with grey colors are more difficult to whiten than teeth with yellow colors. Teeth with darker stains are harder to whiten than lighter stains.
2) Concentration of solution: The higher the concentration, the quicker the results. Although you risk having more sensitivity with the higher concentrations. We have included a guide on how to minimize sensitivity after teeth whitening.
3) The type of teeth staining food/substances you consumer during and after your bleaching treatment: Food and drinks that contain colors (coffee, tea, wine, and colored juices tend to stain the teeth). Smoking should be stopped too.
How much zoom whitening cost?
The answer depends on how much sessions are included in the whitening process, the teeth conditions and colors and the need of extra whitening measure like home whiting trays for touch ups. A general rule of thumb, the cost of the treatment in Ontario is $400-$700. This price should include the complete in-office whitening session using Philips whitening lamp, color selection and other related procedures.
